Real Property Issues

Blighted property
|
Buildings with holes in walls or roofs; or windows with broken or missing glass panes.

Junk, Rubbish, and Appliances
|
The storage of these items in public view is an eyesore for the neighborhood and is a violation of city codes. Storage of refrigerators and other appliances is a dangerous attraction to children and is a violation of the California Penal Code.

Weeds and Neglected Landscaping
|
Front yards that are severely overgrown with weeds or other vegetation which may obstruct the view of drivers or impedes the use of sidewalks or other public rights-of-way

Vehicles (Including Boats, RV's, and Trailers)

Vehicle Violations
|
Potential violations include major automotive repair operation at a residence, lawn parking or parking inoperative vehicles in public view.

Improper storage of recreational vehicles
|
Trailers, RV, and boats must be placed on a driveway or other impervious surface and parked so that they do not obstruct the public right-of-way or the view of oncoming traffic from neighboring driveways.
