Q: What is Site Plan Review? Site Plan Review is a response to your project by the Site Plan Review Committee. The Site Plan Review Committee consists of representatives of the Police and Public Works Departments, the Associate Planner, Chief Building Official and Fire Marshal. The Committee generally meets every other Thursday afternoon. This Committee allows for the maximum staff input and recommendation by consensus. Following this meeting, the Planner will explore the possible issues and probable processes. Following this research, the Planner will prepare a formal response with comments and recommendations prior to proceeding with a public hearing or construction drawings. All applicants are welcome and encouraged to meet and discuss with the Planner and/or other members of the Site Plan Review Committee project recommendations and conditions. Decisions of the Site Plan Review Committee may be appealed to the Planning Commission within 10 days of the Committees action.
