In 2003, the City passed a Community Facilities District (CFD) for all new construction.  The CFD collects funds from each new parcel for fire protection.  This fee provides additional funds to maintain the level of service we now enjoy in the City. The intent of this fee was to be used to supplement the cost of staffing new stations and or resources.
