Water


The City's water is provided from seven deep ground water wells.  Oakdale's water meets and/or exceeds all State of California Department of Health Services and EPA water testing requirements.  In additon, the City's water does not require any type of treatment - which is why it has been known to be the purest natural drinking water in the area!  Our water distribution system is controllled by state-of-the-art "SCADA" computer system. 

WATER METERS  
The City has installed radio read water meters, which allow our Water Division staff to read water meters wirelessly, which makes the process more time effective and efficient than previous methods.  

EMERGENCY WATER TURN-OFF/ON
 
The City provides water shut-off/turn-on service in case of emgergency situations only (i.e. broken pipes, valves, etc.) for residents with current accounts. (NOTE: This does not include water turn-on/shut-of related to billing issues or new water services.  For these, please contact City Hall*.) 

UTILITY BILLING INQUIRIES
