Welcome to the Administrative Services Division consisting of sworn police and civilian employees that provide a multitude of support services to the department and public.
Those services range from such traditional functions as the Traffic Unit, Animal Services and Community Services to the management of several volunteer programs. A Sergeant commands the Division. Two Traffic Officers, two Animal Service Officers, two Community Service Officers, Citizen Auxiliary Police Services (CAPS) volunteers, Police Explorers, Police Chaplains, and Animal Shelter volunteers support him. There are six sections, which specialize in the delivery of their respective services. Welcome to the Oakdale Police Department’s Administrative Division web site. The members of the Administration Division, under the direction of the Administrative Sergeant, are responsible for a wide variety of tasks devoted to administratively supporting the mission of the Oakdale Police Department. The Administrative Sergeant is also responsible for administering the Department’s fiscal and budgetary requirements. He is also the department’s Public Information Officer.
