Oak Valley’s Nurse Call center provides Resource Nurses on call 24 hours each day, access to an audio library, referrals to local physicians, and access to a health information library. The Widowed Person Support Group meets at the Oakdale Senior Center the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. WPS meetings for newly bereaved and for those who feel in need of counseling are at 6:30 p.m., with General Group at 7:00 p.m. At these meetings there are many interesting speakers from the community, travel video evenings, crafts, and great fellowship. Come and join us the 1st Saturday each month for breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and dinner on the 3rd Tuesday each month at 6:00 p.m. at different locations. GRANDPARENTS RAISING GRANDCHILDRENThis is a new support group that will be meeting at the Senior Center on Tuesday mornings 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This group is for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren and need information on services available to them, and the support of other grandparents. |
