MISSION STATEMENT

The Commission recommends to the Oakdale City Council regarding programs, needed facilities, housing, recreation, plus health and nutritional needs affecting the seniors in the community.

Term: 4 years

Meeting Schedule: Quarterly (January, April, July, October) the Third Tuesday of the month, 2:00 p.m.

Duties of the Commission

The commission serves in an advisory capacity to the city council. Its duties are to research, review, and make recommendations on projects, questions, or other matters pertaining to senior citizens that are initiated by the city council or commission itself. (Ord . No. 924.)
