General Plan Update Website!

This is your guide and informational source for the City's 2030 General Plan Update process. As required by State law, the updated General Plan takes a long-term view and is designed to guide future land use and other decisions in the City over the next 20 years. The process of updating the General Plan includes many events that seek the participation of you, your neighbors, businesses, and property owners. This process is structured to lead the General Plan from vision, to creation, to the eventual adoption by the Oakdale City Council.

 

Project Status

Oakdale's General Plan Update process consists of six major tasks. The status of where we are with each task is provided below. There will be opportunities for you to be involved and to provide input during each task. These opportunities will include community workshops and City Council/Planning Commission study sessions held throughout the process where you can express your opinion and be heard.
