Planning Commission
The Planning Commission holds hearings in a public forum to review a multitude of projects related to land use planning for the city.  The Planning Commission may also review proposed city ordinances; the annual Capital Improvement Plan; and other issues related to consistency with the Oakdale General Plan.

The Planning Commission consists of five volunteer members appointed by the Mayor after concurrence from the complete City Council.  All five members are appointed as at-large positions and serve terms of four years.

Planning commissioners are selected by the City Council for their interest, experience, and expertise. For more information about the appointment process, please refer to the Appointments page on the Web site.

The members of the Planning Commission are:

 Ron Bordona  Steven Howie, Chair
 Scott Hicks  Sam Garrett, Vice-Chair
 Neil Hudson

The Planning Commission meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.  See the Calendar for a current schedule of meetings.

Planning Commission agendas, minutes, and staff reports are usually available after 4:00 p.m., the Friday prior to the meeting.  You may access these reports by clickin on the links below, or by contacting the Planning Division Office.
