Sewer

The Sewer Division maintains and repairs the City’s sewer collection system including sewer mains and laterals.  This division operates, maintains, and repairs the sewer lift stations and provides safe sanitary services.

The City of Oakdale utilizes a radio-controlled SCADA computer system to monitor the collection of sewer from the thirteen sewer lift stations located throughout the city limits.  This system consists of sewer mains to which your home is connected to by a sewer lateral.

If you believe you have a sewer problem that may involve City sewer lines, you can call Public Works at (209) 845-3600 to check the sewer main on the City side.  NOTE: The City is not responsible for the sewer lines from your property line to the main line in the road.  If the clog is within your property sewer line, it is recommended to contact a plumber.
